嘉創中心啟用 期許鏈結西部產業

經濟部嘉義產業創新研發中心今天啟用，副總統蕭萬長今天主持啟用典禮，他期許，嘉創中心發揮3大功能，第1是成為保健、健康產業的火車頭；第2是讓二、三級中小企業跟中心結合，順利轉型升級；第3是成為技術移轉及運用中心，讓嘉義市成為先進的城市。 該中心由工研院施工興建，地下1層，地上8層，設太陽能板並以綠色植物為門面裝潢，是新式綠建築，目前已有19家學術機構及企業進駐。
