衛生署宣布先行下架5大類含起雲劑食品，無論日後是否恢復上架，專家認為，這都有助於讓廠商日後製造更貼近原味的產品，因鈣片、維他命等根本不需添加起雲劑，就能達到補充營養的功效，經這次大量下架、送驗事件後，食品業者應會減少添加這類不必要的產物。
