家中小朋友如果常常咳嗽、流鼻水，又沒有發燒症狀，小心可能塵螨在作怪，台北市衛生局近兩年針對小一新生學童進行調查發現，有超過兩成小一新生是氣喘的高危險群，而引發氣喘的原因，就是家中塵螨作怪，醫師提醒家長，孩子過敏症狀嚴重，如果沒有及時就醫，小心惡化成急性氣喘。
